Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

This promotion is open to any authorised card holder of a SPAR Stokvel, Festive Savings, Back To School or Umgidi SuperCard issued and registered through any participating SPAR Retailer within the Republic of South Africa.

• Participation is strictly prohibited for:

  • Any employee, director, or officer of SuperCard (the “Promoter”).

  • Any employee, director, or officer of any participating SPAR Retailer.

  • Any immediate family members of the individuals listed above.

2. Entry Period and Mechanics

• Promotional Period: The promotion commences on 15 February 2026 and concludes at the close of business on 14 November 2026 (the “Entry Period”).

• Winner Selection: The prize will be awarded to the eligible card holder who has the highest recorded closing balance on their SPAR Stokvel SuperCard at 23:59 on 14 November 2026.

• Tie-Breaker: In the event of a tie where multiple card holders share the exact same highest balance, the winner will be the individual who reached that specific balance first (determined by the date and time stamp of the final deposit).

3. Prize and Logistics

• Total Prize Value: The prize is  R25,000.00 (Twenty-Five Thousand Rand).

• Redemption Options: The winner may redeem the prize by purchasing at a participating SPAR with the R25 000 loaded to the winning SuperCard.

  No Cash Exchange: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

4. Winner Notification and Verification

• The potential winner will be identified via system reports and contacted directly by 30 November 2026.

• Verification: The winner must provide a valid South African ID and their physical SuperCard. If the winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days or is found to be ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the card holder with the next highest balance.

• Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow the Promoter to use their name and image for promotional purposes.

5. General Terms

• Right to Amend: SuperCard reserves the right to amend or terminate this promotion at its sole discretion.

• Final Decision: The Promoter’s determination of the highest balance based on official system records is final.

• Compliance: Entry into this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

SuperCard may use your contact number for enhancing the product offering for our end-users by means of communicating promotions, special offers and other information relevant to your SuperCard product of choice.

These communication offerings may include (but not be limited to) website cookies, phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp messaging, advertising via Meta Ads and/or Google Ads (or similar), email marketing, android app push notifications or similar.

Winners of promotions and competitions will be requested to feature on SuperCard media platforms but are not required to oblige to requests in order to secure their prizes.

SuperCard does not share your data with any third party data brokering services.
