SuperCard is partnered with over 500 retail outlets across Southern Africa. Simply ask your local retailer for assistance in-store. You will need proof of identity and a phone number to sign up for transactional cards.

You can easily sign up for a SuperCard online
Simply get a SuperCard from your local retailer and finish the registration process on your own internet connected device. Your card will activate once you make your first deposit at tills in-store.
How To Register For A SuperCard
SuperCard Shoppers, Stokvel and Gift cards are available at select SPAR stores at over 500 locations across South Africa.
Check your local store for SuperCard support and when you are certain that the promoter has addressed your queries and you have selected the card you want to register for you can follow the steps as listed below.
- Allow an instore rep/promoter to sign you up at the SuperCard kiosk. Have your cell number, ID number and address details available. Provide your full name and surname.
- Go to any till point (with the promoter helping you) and activate your card with a deposit of R35. This is your activation fee.
- You add funds to your card at the till point by making a cash deposit or using a traditional banking card to transfer funds.
- You can load up to R25 000 per month.
- If your card is lost or damaged there is a R35 replacement fee. You can recover your funds by doing a card replacement.
- Newly created card profiles and card replacements in 2025 will not be charged a monthly admin fee but are subject to an annual renewal fee of R20 after 12 months of active use.
- An admin fee of R2 is charged each month to enjoy unlimited deposits and transactions, this is only applicable to cards created before 2024.
- Pin change requests are free.
- As from 2024 all newly created card profiles will incur an annual renewal fee of R20 a year, this will be deducted after 12 months of use.
- Card profile changes from a Stokvel to a Shoppers card cost R50. Card profile changes from Shoppers to Stokvel cost R0.
