Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

• This promotion is open exclusively to any authorised card holder of a SPAR Stokvel SuperCard issued and registered specifically through SUPERSPAR Sosh Plaza. The initial registration fee is R35 with an annual renewal fee of R20.

• Participation is strictly prohibited for:

  • Any employee, director, or officer of SuperCard (the “Promoter”).

  • Any employee, director, or officer of any retail store (including SUPERSPAR Sosh Plaza, the “Retailer”) that utilises the SuperCard product.

  • Any immediate family members of the individuals listed above.

2. Entry Period and Mechanics

• Promotional Period: The promotion commences on 21 November 2025 and concludes on 31 March 2026 (the “Entry Period”).

• Automatic Entry: An eligible card holder will gain one (1) automatic entry into the promotion for every deposit of R50.00 (Fifty Rand and Zero Cents) made into their SPAR Stokvel SuperCard account during the Entry Period. Multiple entries are permitted.

3. Prize and Liability Limitations

• Prize: The final prize is one (1) cow, which is to be collected by the verified winner in one of the following two forms:

  • Option A: A live cow to be collected from a designated feed lot located within the Limpopo Province, South Africa.

  • Option B: A processed carcass of a cow to be collected from a designated abattoir located within the Limpopo Province, South Africa.

• No Cash Exchange: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative prize.

• Limited Liability (Collection & Transport):

  • The Promoter and the Retailer bear no responsibility or liability for any costs, logistics, or risks associated with the winner’s collection, transport, or storage of the prize (either live cow or processed carcass) from the designated Limpopo location. This includes, but is not limited to, costs of transport, required permits, veterinary requirements, or any damage, injury, or loss incurred during the collection and transport process.

  • The winner assumes full responsibility and risk for the chosen prize option from the moment of collection.

4. Winner Notification and Publicity

• The winner of the promotional giveaway will be selected via a random draw from all eligible entries.

• The winner will be contacted directly via the contact details associated with their Stokvel SuperCard account in April 2026.

• If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within seven (7) days, or if the winner fails to meet the eligibility requirements or comply with these terms and conditions, the winner shall forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

• Publicity Clause: By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Promoter and Retailer the irrevocable right and permission to use, without compensation, the winner’s name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information (including photographs and video footage taken during prize collection) for advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes in any media worldwide. Refusal to grant this right will result in prize forfeiture.

5. General Terms

• Right to Amend: SuperCard (the Promoter) reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate these promotional terms and conditions, or the promotion itself, at any point in time and without prior notice, at its sole discretion.

• Final Decision: The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters concerning the promotion, including the selection of the winner, is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

• Compliance: Entry into this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

SuperCard may use your contact number for enhancing the product offering for our end-users by means of communicating promotions, special offers and other information relevant to your SuperCard product of choice.

These communication offerings may include (but not be limited to) website cookies, phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp messaging, advertising via Meta Ads and/or Google Ads (or similar), email marketing, android app push notifications or similar.

Winners of promotions and competitions will be requested to feature on SuperCard media platforms but are not required to oblige to requests in order to secure their prizes.

SuperCard does not share your data with any third party data brokering services.
